​Carl is a member of the Georgia and Tennessee bars, and has been practicing law for more than 20 years. Carl's practice includes business law and securities law.  He acts as informal general counsel and advisor to several companies.

 

He received his J.D. from the Duke University School of Law in 1991. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

 

Prior to forming his own law firm, Carl was an attorney at King & Spalding and Smith, Gambrell & Russell.
